Please support the earthquake victims by texting ERDBEBEN to 81190 (German cell phones only!). 5.00 Euro will be deducted from your phone bill, of which 4,83 Euro will go to the SHELTERBOX project. Welcome to the international Rotary Club of Germany's Capital

Welcome! Having been chartered in November 2009, we are not only Berlin's newest Rotary Club, we are also the only one dedicated to the international community in the capital. Our 25 members represent 12 nations. All our meetings are held in English, which makes us the ideal club for expatriates living in Berlin as well as visiting Rotarians from around the world.

Rotary is seeking people with high standards in professional ethics who want wo put "Service above Self". Perhaps, you would like to contribute to the world's oldest service club organization. If you are interested in membership, please refer to our special information for prospective members.

RCBI meets every Friday

During our Sunrise Meetings, start your Rotary day with a breakfast and a phantastic view to the Chancellor's office and the Reichstag. Every 2nd Friday of the month at 5pm, you can join us for cocktails at Germany's only Rotary Happy Hour.

Donate your cell phone and help us to fight Polio

In September 2009, RCBI launched a collection of used cell phones. The idea is very simple: All of us have used cell phones at home or in the office. Some of them are still in good quality and can be re-sold. We collect the phones and sell them to a partner company that will clean and sell them.

Depending on model and condition of the cell phone, we get between 2.00 € and 80.00 € per phone. This money will go into PolioPlus, Rotary's flagship project to eradicate Polio.

Support from Denmark for the Cell Phone Collection

It was a dinner in July, when we shared the idea with our friend Carol (RC Copenhagen International). Now, her District 1470 has already collected the first 1000 phones for our campaign. Indredible, but not too much of a surprise if you know Carol. They should be a role model for other districts.
